As we prepare for the Return of the Maple Falls Park Bigfoot Festival, once again, let us remind you, this is a family fun, fundraising event! We are excited to seeing all you Bigfoot enthusiasts out in our neck of the woods that was designated a "bigfoot refuge".

We love our green rolling hills and mountains that protect the wild nature all around us

A little history for you all on the first sighting of what is to know as Bigfoot.
"In October of 1967 in Northern California, a short video was shot by two men from Yakima WA, that were looking for signs of a creature that had been sighted in the area during August of the same year, as well as reports of the creature in the surrounding areas dating back to 1958. As the two men (Roger Patterson and Robert Gimlin) passed a logjam that was left over from a flood three years prior, a creature they described as 6'6" (1.98m) was seen standing up on the opposite side of the creek from them. The men who had brought a film camera with them then recorded 59.5 seconds of what many believe is the best evidence of the existence of Bigfoot!"
Whatcom County has been designated a Bigfoot Refuge.
Looking bfro.net/at the map below, provided by our fellow Bigfoot enthusiasts at BigfootFieldResearchers Organization, all the reports are listed here since 1995.  Thank you for sharing these stats bfro.net.
